Half Day Visit To Local Markets

Leave in the morning in company of a local qualified chef who is an enthusiast for local markets. Head to Bazurto's Market Place located at "La Popa" foothill district. This is the city's largest market and where one can find all the fresh products available in the Caribbean region. Try some of the exotic fruits and follow this expert, known to the vendors, through this area as they welcome him to their barrio. For this reason this visit feels very much like a true local experience.

Optional: In the market choose and buy the necessary produce available and continue to the beaches of "Manzanillo de Mar" just 15 minutes outside of Cartagena, until reaching a spectacular house with sea views with a large open kitchen for a cooking class. Later, enjoy a traditional dance show organized by the children from the area. In the afternoon enjoy a walk on the beach or bathe in the sea before returning to your hotel.
