We recommend Santa Marta

Burukuka

One of the most known restaurants in the area as it combines good service with quality food. However, what will most impress you is the view from its panoramic terrace:the extraordinary and beautiful el Rodadero bay with its unique combination of modern buildings and natural landscapes.

Taste Cayeye

Cayeye a delicious dish, very nutritious and easy to do, is always eaten at breakfast.Made out of green and pintonas (ripe or not workout) bananas, salt, vinegar, salty cheese, butter and warm milk (just a bit) might be helpful especially after partying in Taganga, Santa Marta or El Rodadero.

Floating down the river

At the
Don Diego River, located an hour north from Santa Martha, it is possible to rent rubber rings to float down the river's crystal clear water. When doing so, see monkeys swinging on the trees, feel and hear the rhythm of the water. At the end, enjoy the spot where the river meets the ocean.

Bolivar´s House

At 1:03 a.m. on December 17, 1830, Simón Bolívar exhaled his last breath at the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino front room. Restored to its original condition, "La Quinta" preserves the liberator's death bed, the carriage that brought him from Santa Marta to the farm and other artifacts.
