All Day In Tayrona National Park- Arrecife Beach

Leave early-morning from Santa Marta or Taganga, northeast to Tayrona National Park. Located on the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta foothills, covers an area of 17,000 km2 including white-sand beaches lapped by blue-turquoise waters, coral reefs, huge ocean boulders, densely rich forest vegetation, mangroves and famous Tayronas’ Lost City.

Hike through the forest. There are birds in abundance and is possible to see monkeys playing on trees. After a 45min-hike arrive at Arrecifes Beach, one of the park’s most scenic and beautiful areas will astound you with its wonderful landscape. Walk-along the coast to ‘La Piscina’, a stretch of beach ideal for bathing. Enjoy some time on the beach to rest or bathe. Return to Santa Marta or Taganga.

All Day Mini Trekking to Pueblito

Leave early-morning from Santa Marta or Taganga, northeast to Tayrona National Park to a little town called ‘Calabazo’. Begin hike along pathway that leads to "Pueblito" through foothills offering spectacular views with immense rocks, exuberant vegetation. Upon arrival to Pueblito there’s the feeling of being at the heart of Tayrona’s civilization. The tropical flora and eerie silence seem appropriate here amongst ruins of terraces, homes, bridges, and stairways that lead to the beach, are witnesses to Tayrona civilization. Additionally, 2hr-walk continues to Cabo San Juan de Guía Beach, enjoy some time on the beach to rest or bathe. After lunch, the walk continues for 45 minutes to Cañaveral and return by car to Santa Marta or Taganga.
