Half Day In Pereira

Half-day visit to city of Pereira; known as the “City without doors”. Here, nobody is foreigner at the “Otun’s Pearl” located alongside the river and region of the same name; and “The Querendona [Loving], Trasnochadora [Night-owl] and Morena [Brunette]” for its friendly people, famous nightlife, shopping and pretty women.

Begin tour at Pereira’s historic centre along the beltway area where most restaurants, bars and clubs are located. Cover the downtown historic-centre on foot, where one can appreciate Republican architecture that contrast with environmentally-aware buildings and remodeled areas. Head on to Bolivar Square, see statue ‘Bolivar Liberator’, by Maestro Arenas Betancourt dedicated in 1963. Enjoy some locally-brewed coffee and return to hotel.
