Half Day "Los Micos" Island Natural Reserve

Leaving Leticia in the morning to "Los Micos" Island Natural Reserve; passing Nazareth port, on the right riverbank of the Amazon in Colombia and Puerto Alegría port, on the left riverbank in Perú.

Arrive at the Reserve after 45min trip on the Amazon River. There, it is possible to wander the elevated walkways through rainforest and ecological, educational pathways; observe giant lotus plants, local fauna and the Frailey Monkeys in their natural habitat. Also, travel in a traditional canoe accompanied by a native guide through rainforest swampland into "Tucuchira" Lake to observe different ecosystems. Take buffet-style lunch, return to Leticia by boat.
