All Day puerto Nariño & Tarapoto Lake

Depart early-morning from Leticia, travel along the Amazon River. Reach Tikunas’ small village Macedonia, known for its handicrafts made from "yanchama" (tree bark), beautiful accessories fashioned with seeds and feathers, brightly colored hand-woven bags and various carved sticks, necklaces made from palosangre (blood tree). Continue by boat to Amacayacu National Park, to appreciate many types of flora, fauna and ancient trees such as the Amazonian Ceiba. After lunch, travel onto Puerto Nariño, a mixture of colonists and natives, second largest town in Amazonas. Later-on travel upstream the river to Tarapoto Lake where, it is possible to see species like the pink river dolphins. Return to Leticia.
