Biopark La Reserva 6 Hours

Driving westbound on 80th street, arrive to Cota, a town located 40 minutes from Bogotá. Visit the first park created for interaction between humans and an animal environment. 

This park was built with recycled materials, and many species were rescued from illegal exotic animal dealers. Animal-rescue authorities donated them to Cota's Biopark. Specialists rehabilitate the animals and recreate similar environment conditions to their habitat. 

In this reserve appreciate the reconstruction of diverse ecosystems as dry forest, wet Andean forest, wetlands, tropical rainforest and cloudy forest. Also, appreciate fauna of this area: frogs, rabbits, iguanas, butterflies, birds, fish, and crabs native from each region of Colombia.
